Louis Derbré - sculptor

This very talented and internationally known sculptor sadly passed away on 3^rd August. He worked in granite, marble, wood and bronze and in 1991 he moved his foundry and workshop from Paris to Ernée. Many of his creations can be seen in Ernée and Laval and he has exhibited his works around the world - Montreal, Paris, Japan, sometimes alongside the works of Rodin and Maillol. He has also produced several portraits, including Georges Pompidou, Yul Brynner, Anthony Quinn and Johnny Halliday.
